SisTers PGH Behavioral Health Services
Trans-Affirming Mental Health Care at Stonewall Inn
Welcome To Our Healing Space
At Sisters PGH, we know how important it is to feel safe, seen, and supported.
That’s why we created our new Behavioral Health Services program—offering free, trauma-informed, and trans-affirming care for the trans and nonbinary community in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.
This program is led by a licensed and certified mental health professional and centers the experiences of Black and Brown trans people, while remaining open to all trans individuals seeking support.
What We Offer
All services are free of charge for Sisters PGH participants and include:
One-on-one therapy sessions
Emotional wellness check-ins
Peer support groups (offered in person and virtually)
Harm reduction and crisis intervention
Referrals for HRT, medication, and affirming providers
Community-centered workshops and healing spaces
Who Can Access Services
These services are available to:
Trans and nonbinary residents of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.
Current and active participants of Sisters PGH programs (housing, outreach, TRC, etc.)
We prioritize Black and Brown trans folks, but all trans people connected to Sisters PGH are welcome.
Where Services Are Offered
All behavioral health sessions are held at our Stonewall Inn location, a safe and confidential space located in downtown Pittsburgh.
In-person and virtual options are available depending on your access needs.
