For Referral Partners – Behavioral Health Services
Sisters PGH is committed to not only providing affirming behavioral health care, but also building a larger, community-rooted continuum of care for trans and nonbinary people in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.
We welcome collaboration and referrals from housing providers, harm reduction programs, medical and mental health professionals, legal advocates, and grassroots organizations that serve trans and nonbinary individuals. Our aim is to build real, intentional partnerships that prioritize client autonomy, access, and care continuity.
Our Behavioral Health Program offers free therapy, wellness check-ins, peer support groups, and referral pathways for services we do not yet provide (such as medication or HRT access). We want to work alongside other affirming agencies to ensure trans people receive the wraparound care they deserve—without judgment or harm.
To refer a client:
- Ensure the client is informed about Sisters PGH and consents to the referral
- Assist them in completing our Behavioral Health Interest Form, or provide them with the link
- Include your name, role, and organization for follow-up, if appropriate
Please note: While we prioritize current participants in Sisters PGH programs, we are actively expanding access through partnerships. We’re building a system that reflects what our community actually needs—not what it’s been handed in the past.
